Excuse me, Click, right. Honda Click. Yes.
Will be back to that in a few days.
Take your time, you seriously overestimate the interest in you "supposedly" notching up another u20 but i suppose if you never got past being a teen then crack on.
Honda Click Honda Click Honda Click Honda Click
Will throttle at the look cable some week next time.
Chaps cheers chappettes.
^ If yer changing the rego from them to you it is, yes. :-)
Jaysus. Right.
Slipped right on. Slid right in. Warm 'er up and smash her to max-o nay bother at all.
I gotta learn to calm down a bit when in the zone.
150 baht for a pair o' grips with the throttle, I've no idea what it would be called. The plastic sleeve that goes on to the bar and the throttle cable then slots into, with the rubber hand grip on top. Plus the new matching left hand grip, which a shop can install as the left grip be glued on tighter than a mo-fo.
Took her out 2 or 3 times this evening.
She rides unbelievably well.
I'm actually shocked at how well she rides from just a decent carb clean new sparkie and new air filter.
A shop will do lots of the other minor stuff in the next week or three. Cheers chaps/chapettes.![]()
I’m enjoying this so much I rex I’ll look at developing it into a wee business after a few more restos.
Get the biz properly registered.
Buy at auctions.
Rebuild using brand new parts.
Market and sell as such.
Ed’s Euro Scootz.
12 month full warranty and guarantee on all mechanical parts.
Every scooter has been professionally rebuilt to European standards by a certified and qualified European mechanical engineer, using only brand new parts.
Built with love, sold with trust.
The same as ExpatAutos here. People, particularly Westerners are more open to, and paya bit more, for a vehicle sold through a reputable Western ran organization.
Buy a shophouse. Downstairs for the work area, then signs and vehicles out the front.
About the owner of Ed’s Euro Scootz.
Ed first started rebuilding engines with his father Formula Ford 3 racer Edmond McCheddar II at the age of 3. From there, his passion blossomed, and he gained his first national diploma of mechanical engineering at age 16. Thirty years later he is still as passionate about offering professionally rebuilt vehicles as ever. There is a reason why the company slogan is Built with love, sold with trust. His vehicles are as good as new, and guaranteed not to let you down. Buy today, trust forever.
Rex that will be a goer in about 5 years.
Right then. Any tips on how to change a brake lever and brake fluid?
Put the crack pipe down. Bld tip#445
Get some Therapy you absolute fruitcake. BeerLaoDrinker tip# 446
The brake lever is so easy, I don't know how to describe it as I don't know what you don't know.
The brake fluid is complex and potentially life-threatening for the eventual user if you don't understand the ins and outs of hydraulics. Again...too many details. It's like asking how to rebuild an engine.
Tell me you are only pretending to know without saying you are pretending.
^ First troll of Ed's thread.
Fuck off, Willy.
No sane, non-trolling person would expect me to write a tutorial about hydraulics and their repair here. Ed only asked out of naivete. It is potentially too dangerous for an inexperienced person to do. The brakes may be okay temporarily, then fade.
Anybody know of a good online course for the mechanics of automatic scooters?
Once this project is done, I'd like to buy an old beaten up one, and do the same as this. Remove the mice and mouse nest from the engine bay, strip it down, clean it up, and go through each part, replacing them as necessary. When finished, list it for sale as newly rebuilt (or long term rent I suppose), targeting the young Western market - teachers, students, digi-gonnads etc, and see if the lil bit o' profit is enough to fund another project. If so, continue on and see how me mechanical skills develop.
Might keep me busy and out of trouble for a while.![]()
Wow. What absolute nonsense luigi, Mao etc.stop insulting posters intelligence with this shit that seems to be rattling around in yer head. You're a strange cat. For sure. Totally fucking nuts
Brake stuff isn't expensive so you might as well get Somchai to fit it. I think it cost me 250 baht for a new lever, reservoir and brake fluid, 120 baht for new brake pads and 300-400 for a new disc.
