The wife's Rolex with the jubilee bracelet but no special decorations. It's the larger size and rose, which made it a difficult find at the time.

I forgot my dress watch is also mechanical.
Not expensive, but quite classic style ...

Found the Tissot I mentioned earlier...

It doesn't feel that heavy on my wrist. Actually, one that you know is there rather than forgetting altogether.

The Tag Heur looks quiye old and dated now, but has immense sentimental value. In those days, I could just about afford a casio when she bought this for me and she earnt even less.

great watch and story, was given a tag but regifted to a poor pal who immediately sold it.
I seldom wear a watch in the sticks , but nice to have in addition to phone when travelling.

It would clean up nicely with a service. Well worth it, I would say.

I bought a limited edition Tissot the other day, 2005 MotoGP Edition.

    5,002 were made.

Very tasteful, Troy. I would not go for the Roman numerals on a bloke's DateJust (although they look good on the men's DayDate) but on the ladies DateJust, they look nice.

I love the minimalist Bauhaus styling on those Junkers. I looked at a similar Zeppelin from their sister stable but managed to resist temptation. I had never seen the box before. Nice touch with the corrugated metal echoing the corrugated fuselage of the famous Ju-52

Nothing like a ticking heirloom that has been handed down through generations. I hope none of the great-greats did time in any prisoner of war camps with the size of that eye-watering beast!

Tissot seem to do some of the largest boxes in the industry. All their Chemin des Tourelles range come in giant boxes with a library of books inside the box.

This is my everyday Garmin Fenix 3 HR.

She’s almost 10 years old but still holds a charge for 10 days.

She loses 10% an hour if running on GPS, even now.

One day she will die, and am far from ready for that tragedy.

She has had many straps, previous loops have failed, but we seem to have a winning combo.

Some good deals on certain Garmins on Amazon atm. I pulled the trigger on one of last year's models with a steep discount. It's gonna take a while to arrive, meanwhile I may be suffering some buyer's remorse as I found something else just as appealing...

Thanks for not calling them cable-ties.

    I hate wasting syllables.
