thats the trouble with hot climates. there are only so many layers of clothing you can remove before you are naked but still as uncomfortably hot.

air con is only of any use indoors, you cant take it outside with you and fans just the blow hot air that is the cause of the discomfort right back onto you. the cooling effect is minimal once the humid and high 30s are reached.

the beauty of a cold climate is that you need never be cold, you just keep adding layers of clothing until you achieve the degree of comfort required.
first the vest, then the warm shirt, if that isnt enough then on with the sweater, followed by the jacket and if you need more just reach for the overcoat, scarf, gloves and a hat.

the body supplies its own heat from within and the clothes stop the heat from dissipating into the atmosphere.

The ultimate 'mom & pop store' oneupmanship line.

    Me?

Well, I've created an app for my mom & pop store.

It's still early days, but we're hoping to get drone delivery organised, and believe we can link this in to TD to automatically start a 'Why do people complain about not being able to buy a fkin beer in a shop that sells beer when the only possible justification for this juvenile (at best) shit is getting pissed?' thread.

The thread title will need shortening.

    More to follow.

The East India Company wrote the book on this issue; supervise locals doing your bidding whilst the pankha wallah and g&t wallah kept things civilised.

Bicycle or motorcycle. Even on hot days, I found peddling the mountain bike to be cooler than just sitting around.

The obvious answer, to me anyway, is if heat and air quality is a serious issue.... move someplace cooler with better air.

I can't imagine having to turn one's abode into a giant iron lung by sealing it off with you inside and running machines 24/7 because of such.

Freezing cold, dark, wet, winters were a large part in me fookin' off asap as a young adult. Dark at 8am. Dark at 4pm. Freezing cold rain all day. Ride a motorbike and your hands get so frozen you're standing like a T-Rex for an hour afterwards. Fok that shiz.

Ya gotzta live in a climate that's suitable for youz.
