We are all different when it comes to heat.

But your comment that "Dr Willy is on point" is too extreme for me.

My colleague is in Minnesota for 2 more weeks. He is tired of going in and out of heated places. He said you put clothes, shed clothes off.

While I enjoyed cold weather skiing, now I will stick with heat.

Will I don't mind either, humid weather wears me out faster. Having lived in Las Vegas it could 115 out and 25% humidity and it didn't feel like 115. However here can be 85f and 75% humidity and feel like 140 which immediately causes swamp ass.

Thank god for that! Brrr, I read about the arctic blast o'er there.
We also have a cold snap, but not that cold, -15 to -20 this week. I hate the cold, but also got 25 cms of snow a few days ago. Anyway, hope all is well folks. Happy New Year!

Temperature wise it had to be at the Hadeed Steel Plant in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. I forget the temp, but it was a bit over 50° and walking across the carpark it felt like my eyes were turning into boiled eggs.

The hottest most uncomfortable was a windowless hotel room w/o AC in Penang. I felt like I was being suffocated under a hot wet wool blanket. I gave up and sat at a mamak stall on the corner of Chulia St and Penang Rd all night waiting for the early morning minibus to Hat Yai.

I'm going with Florida in August/September, when the heat and humidity are both around 100.

Good one! I had neve experienced dry heat until I walked out of the airplane in Kuwait it was 45 C in August. I prefer the dry heat for some reason. I sweat a lot more in humid heat like Bangkok.

A few years ago in September my wife and I took the train from Dammam to Al Hasa, about 60km SW. At that time, Dammam/Khobar was its typical 45° with about 95% humidity. Ugh! Anyway, we arrived in Al Hasa and it was even hotter at 48° but far far less humid. Still hotter than blazes, but I didn't feel like I was getting boiled.

I thought Cordoba and Marrakech were hot at 44 before going to Al qurtabah in ksa nice aircon hotel but that made going out into carpark at almost 50 during ramadan seem unbearable until i viited a local bakery the only time when stepping out into the 40 plus evening was a relief.

As others wrote of course the dew point and high humidity that is the worst .had some seriously sticky nights in Penang and Medan one way or another.

Probably worst climate I have stayed in is Madrid with bitter winters and scorching summers

I believe that Mandy - Let's live in Ulanbaataar (-40 during winter nights) - is the TD man to talk too about cold winters.

Finished my last 3mth contract there August 2022, half a winter was quite enough; what a sh1t climate; windy, cold, grey

And a reminder, this was 'peak summer' 2 January 2021 hill trail running in rain/fog - the hill trails about the only thing I miss

Loose elastic, if you are forgetting to lace up the strings to your jocksstrap could be early onset Alzheimer, it is not limited to brighter.

How do you know it was a loose elastic and I'm not resisting the urge to whack it out and flash random passers by in the park?
