The butcher birds were harassing FF2 after yesty's BBQ when I awoke, and disrupting her art creation. She is a talented sketch artist.

She won the confidence of the feathered mob, overcoming some initial hesitancy at the impatient tone they were displaying after being offered only crisps, while I was asleep, instead of their preferred hot-dogs

She is easy to cater for at short notice, before we stepped out, being satisfied with a bowl of instant mie-goreng

We took the scenic route back to the station to drop her off with a kangaroo safari

Her AI phone accurately communicated her approximately correct guess that these were 'young males competing for conjugal rights', as it very formally translated

We took a promenade by the lake

And a wedge-tailed eagle flew overhead (I was a bit slow with the phone camera)

Her Apple AI ensured that, unlike the dry riverbed, the conversation flowed with abundance

I found a tiny amphibian.

Even hideous cane toads look cute when they are babies.

In both Myanmar and Laos I always operate 100% legally, but of course the local plod has no clue about ham radio, weird antennas and a radio transmitter. I did get in hot water from this very house in Luang Prabang a few years ago, and I had lots of police raiding the house over the course of a few days. I think the worst that can happen is that they deport me
