It does look like a suit. However it was two pieces a tracksuit or something, I didn’t pay her much mine. There are some good seasonal vegetables and frozen fish in this market (But it’s not a wet market).
Bike ride in NSW on Thursday
Donkeys ahoy
Reckon I could give Stumpy a run for his money on this Australian ATV
Someone burning stumps
The road I was exploring turned into gravel and then a track and then had to cycle through streams in sections and I ended up in proper duelling banjos territory with genetically challenged yokels staring at me as I cycled nonchalantly past their porches so I was relieved to finally emerge back into civilization as the sun was dropping low with no BMX Arse Banditry inflicted.
Can you spot the bike next to this monster fig tree?
Another vintage ATV before I found the hardtop back to the gaff
∆ Tires are on backwards on the old Massey.
^^^ What a glorious place to live.
^Nice. I was planning to do Jasper to Banff on the bicycle when I lived there but never got round it.
Maiden voyage of the bike rack today.
Craggly peaks
Broad abutment
Verdant vista
Road petered to a knobbly track
Bit of wading required
Had to abandon the steed and hike, and eventually came upon a horse's tail waterfall
I was hoping to see the Virgin Mary appear hovering in the double fall grotto on level 2 but I was left unblessed
Lovely part of the world Loops!
Headed into the NSW badlands today where the trail topped out at 400m asl
Fossilised tree
Mount Warning in the distance
Finally heading downhill - thank fook
Homeward bound with 25km of hard trail riding shivering me timbers
A damn fine tree above, worthy of a hug!
Outstanding cycling thread, making me jealous.
The emerald blue seas of Point Danger
I wonder how much those pod houses cost.
Many a shipwreck off point danger in days of yore. Looks like a pirate ship passing by by the cut o'her jib. Looks ripe to splice her mainbrace.
A cheeky chilled Czech was in order to lower the temperature
The Velcopopovicky lager weighs in at 4.7% so a bit stronger than the lush Dark.
Practising my nevtatstic sneaky snorkel snooping tactics on a roasting 36c
Ocean was cool about 21 I think
The enclosed rockpool was warm. Either sunshine or kids weewee.
I lovely lady from Afghanistan stopped me on my apres-snorkel promenade along the path to ask if I could be in her holiday photo and was kind enough to share it with me.
Took long lost Khmer GF on a trek up the mountains in teh venerable volvo.
A kaleidoscope of clouds were blowing across the NSW valleys.
Mount Uki in the centre which I have my sights set on before the wokeness warriors ban climbing it
The clouds were then crashing into Springbrook and crawling up the rockface
Natural Bridge is a waterfall that drops through a hole in the rock
And then emerges through a second hole which forms the natural bridge
The dramatic cloudscapes continued apace all afternoon
As the rain storms blustered on and off
Up to Springbrook ridgetop
For some classic waterfalls
But we ran out of waterfalls as the clouds closed in at 1000m asl
So it was back home for a bowl of Tom Yam which had been my specialty dish when we met in Canberra 19 years ago and a special request from LLKhGF
Truly is a stunning area of Oz. My mate lives Gold Coast so expect a visit at one point!
Great pictures, thanks for the image

Today I went to the train station to pick up a lady from Fujian Province. She got the train down from Brisbane which was quite brave with no English language skills on a holiday visa
Fujian fillies are like No.9 buses. You wait a lifetime and then 2 come along at once. The geese were enthused by FF2's attention and I suggested grabbing one for the BBQ
She admired the bike collection and attempted to climb on the low-rider beach-cruiser but it was a bit of a stretch at 5'0.
Fujian ladies always bring tea.
Her English is not hilariously bad, it is non-existent. All communication with her was by her talking into her translation app in Chinese and then playing the translation back to me.
I am getting a taste for this Wuyi Mountain brew and the little Chinese cup is a cultural gift, she advised via auto-translation.
I was able to make myself mostly understood via sign language.
She was all over my links when we moved on to the Aussie cultural main course. I was relegated to back-seat driver.
She requested a glass of wine once she felt settled so I was glad to be able to share my very favourite Rose bubbles with her.
The 1 day past full moon rose over the horizon as the embers settled to light up a patchwork of clouds
And our first cultural exchange without subtitles was concluded.
No pics of the melon but looks like Fujian filly has a good chassis.
