Couldn’t agree more. Here’s to Stumpy style and a happy Songkran. I wish I had the time and energy to keep my pool that clean!

Anyone remember when he won a free meal at Timba's restaurant in DD's photo competition with a pic he ripped off the net?

Mao was also sleazy and shallow, but much more amusing.

From leaving my house to the place we're staying by air is about 2-1/2 hours. To go by bus/ferry would take probably about 6-8 hours. I do want to take the ferry from here to Manila though, just for the experience. They have the giant RO-RO ferries that go between here and there. For the best room on the ship, its ~9000P for two. What I'd like to do is take the ferry there, visit Manila for a few days, then fly to El Nido and do the beach thing.

Well Thanks guys. Cheers and Happy Songkran. My wife's 12 year old niece is staying with us as her Mom unfortunately has to work so it's always fun to have water fights with kids playing around. She will have some friends come by from school. I think Tax and SA never had children so they don't understand how to relax and have fun.

Actually I work full time but being that our business activities are global from the US, EU, SEAsia I work various hours so it does give me a lot of freedom and I now work from home 95% of the time.

On the pool, I quite honestly do not do much. Vacuum as needed but the pool chemistry is dialed in and it just takes care of itself for the most part.

Sadly, my pool is rented and comes supplied with a lazy ineffective Hindu pool cleaner.

Went into central Hua Hin about midday, found a bar on a busy street and set about it. Did about 4 hours with a trip down Bintabaht where the water was too cold. Daughter and her mate loved the day. Not really my thing but everyone there was nice so was a laugh. Resisting the urge to sleep at 8pm.

I'd like to see what morning looks like
Don't wanna drink pint after pint
I wanna wake up without feeling sick
    But I can't cuz I'm a drug-abusing alcoholic
