An American filmmaker shared an inside look at the gigantic, state-of-the-art screens that will be used by U2 during their upcoming Las Vegas residency.


The screen inside Sphere, The Venetian's new immersive entertainment venue, is the largest in the world, and will be unveiled by the Irish rockers on September 29.


The 18k, 60fps screen also has the highest resolution in the world and its 160,000 sq ft display plane wraps up, over and behind the audience at what its creators say is a resolution over 100 times that of a high-definition television.
