That's cheating
That's cheating
Well, first he bunged a frozen rack of ribs in the air fryer for five minutes and they came out perfect.
Now the story is he finished up a half rack that had already been cooked in the oven.
Same old LT - was there a bouncey castle involved this time?

All this cutting and stuff, i am just going to throw my ribs in the oven, the old fashioned way with some foil etc.
I just had 2 servings of ribs and perfect.
I can just vision you now bellend for at least the next 2 hours.
One eye on your CCTV security set up and one eye on my pork spare rib posts.
Predictable but so you!
I still don't see any reason to use one over a good old fashioned deep fat frier with first-aid kit and fire extinguisher nearby.
Another thing the air fryer is good for is warming up bread.
I bake bread the old fashion way , eat how much I want and freeze the rest, when I want fresh bread I throw a piece in the air fryer and in a few minutes later , it is as if it was just baked.
The sooner you fall behind, the more time you have to catch up.
its £4 to buy the ribs, then you have to Airfryerer them and use Leccy which will be another £20 and wait for them to cook, its easier to just pick some up from the Chinky whilst your are collecting your Chinky Curry and Egg Fried Rice.
Fok no.
Obese bus drivers that start sweating and panting lifting up their cigarettes talking about health somehow doesn't convince me.
Tastier then deep fried, not buying it.
En vogue, whilst the lead singer did cause some young teenage twitches, not really my cup of tea musically.
There is a Smarthome logo on the fryer and I suspect it is locally made but still works well.
If I cook thick cut frozen chips I leave it on for longer to achieve a crispy result.
As for the ribs all I want to do is heat the product and dont want to burn the marinade.
I also set the timer so I can check the cooking progress and increase the time if necessary.
With regard to posting pics I would love to but my computer refuses to oblige.
As you live not far from me I invite you to drop in and try some ribs for free.
I respect HW's opinion and would like him to rate my wife's product.
Following LT and HW reports, it seems that the air fryer is more effective an efficient then a microwave?
Has anyone used the air fryer on microwave meals. Results?
I'd rather pay, where are they sold? There use to be a high-end butchery called Hickory on the top of Thappraya Rd (near the Courthouse) that did cryovac frozen half-racks of ribs which were nothing short of sensational, simply heat and eat. But they went out of business unfortunately and I've never found anything that comes close to the ribs they use to make.
They're 2 completely different animals, you can't really brown things in a microwave. For example, you wouldn't cook chicken wings in a microwave but you'd use it to re-heat the wings you cooked in an airfryer. For me, microwave = reheating and airfryer = cooking.
Have a read of this...
