A camper-type van actually really appeals to me It's not a problem with my ham radio antennas. I can still get a huge erection (of an antenna) when parked up.

One think that made me think is to ensure that I can live happily and comfortably and cheaply. The events of the past few weeks with my Thai niece has demonstrated how carefully-saved money can rapidly be used up. (I am under no obligation to help her financially or otherwise, but I would be a total bastard not to do all that I can to help).

I've watched YT videos about campervan living - need to think this one out realistically and from a practical point of view.
Groping women when you're old is fine - everyone thinks you're senile

The party bus has been for sale for ages. Could probably knock the price down a bit.

More fun to buy a Transit and convert it yourself.

Reporting your address every 90 days in Thailand would be something to consider.

Some of the coastal places in Trang are very pleasant, and without the influx of foreign tourists of say Krabi or Koh Lanta to the north. Trang itself has the usual shopping, and there's a reasonable selection of restaurants. Last time there, had some decent food at a Mexican place, and also an Italian. Just dug out some photos of the last time I was there, it was for a 200 km Audax cycle ride back in 2019.
