Has anyone noticed a huge amount of empty billboards on Thai roads as of late?
My wifey who has been in the manufacturing/engineering/advertising field for the past 15 years told me that normally there is a 6 moth waiting list to get a spot into one of them advertisements and the prices obviously ain't that cheap.
Surely if Thailand tourist sector represents only a fraction of GDP and Farang is insignificant for Thai economy then why is advertising impacted so badly? I would say a closure of major shopping malls is next, but she keeps convincing me that they (central, mall) make a huge amount of money on rent.
I smell an economic shitstorm.... how about you?
