Good luck to him.
He's done well in such a short period of time.
The thread title should be changed to Bangkok Pat's YouTube channel.
Pat has really kicked a winner with his Utube channel. It's simply very informative and delivered well.
The fact is some of teakdoors cretins are extremely upset that Pat gave up posting about his blurter busting exploits which contained his Cousin in the starring role.
Get over it Willy .
Another damn fine production from Pat.
However, I fear you may have dropped a bollock a few minutes in.
What's with the windows 95?
Get it edited Pat before you hit 100 views.
^ I've been all around there. Brings back memories. I've been up the tower a 3 times. I like towers. I bought some pirated DVDs in that Korea mall.
Bangkok is better than Paris. The streets are so alive. When you shop there , you find things that you actually but , at ridiculously low prices
I almost lost a hand up in the tower. I had my hand through the mesh with my camera to get some video straight down. Which was all good until the stainless steel sign came around. The platform I was on was turning by the sign is stationary. My hand got in between but I was able to withdraw in yoke k time

Bought a couple of suitcases full of Fred Perry fake polo shirts at Pratunam 10 years ago for a £100.
Flogged them all on ebay before they got strict, paid for the holiday.
I'd say the most valuable part of Pats videos is when he splices in old footage from the 20's or 70's of the area that he's covering. Keep that up Pat.
Hey Willy, why don't cha do a Video on the art of tefling and how one survives on 25 baht a day.
Oh that's right, you ain't got the money to spend on the extra bandwidth.
Pats a long way of this guy, millions of views every week from Thailand...
CB Media - YouTube
183k subscribers and he's been youtubing for less than a year.
One of Pats videos got thousands of views quickly yet the rest were significantly lower...
I've watched CB Media - I like his motorbike tours of the provinces & islands, the car shows - not so much. But he does put in a lot of work/ effort in his vids.
Re: Bald & Bankrupt, he's had the channel for several years now. He's also sarcastic & shows "poverty porn", and some people like that. He's found his formula already & he gets views (and $$). He was a covid denier, then had it a few months ago in Europe (Serbia, I think).
The travel couple Kara and Nate have 1M+ subs too. I don't follow them but a friend does. I think they're one of the most successful travel couples on YT. They rented a private island in PI last March (for 10k pesos or ~200 usd/ night). I think they only stayed one night, then decided to leave to escape the lockdown in Manila. I think they left the island at 4 am or so, just to be able to catch a flight back to Manila. Then they flew on to Singapore.
Re: YT, yeah it's hit or miss. There are a lot of channels to choose from. I think Pat has to find his formula - whether it's to be a travel or expat channel.
Pats been busy.
Nearly 5K views in 5 days.
Good luck to him.
I enjoyed a few meetings out with Pat and he is a nice bloke in real life.
I also wish him all the best for this venture.
As I once maintained digs at the Rex Hotel, was an habitué of Washington Square, frequent visitor to Chokchai Building and a regular diner at the restaurant that proceeded the Villa Supermarket, I found this last episode very interesting. A few errors in facts but well put together.
p.s. I am not a spook.
