Attitudes must have changed in the past couple of decades since I worked there, generally I found the Aussies hard workers who loved a bit of "Yakka".

Lulu will be frantically googling that Aussie slang because I guarantee he's never heard of it

Spent 3 1/2 years there. You've never lived in Spain.

Small things ... a month ago went to Global House with my TOA Paints colour chart, they had no stock of the TOA three litres base colour so changed to Nippon in an almost same shade.

Back today at GH for another 3L as we've decided to use same colour in kitchen dining and above tiles in bathroom.

Nippon 3L - "out of stock"

Thaiwatsadu across the highway 1km away, that was ok

Get to checkout and the Kasikorn prompt pay system is down. 'Try again later' was the helpful message.

At least the ATM outside was working. Usually carry cash but not this time.

Last Thursday there was a problem with prompt pay at Lotus resulting in very long queues, got to my turn, my payment showed it had gone through but then refunded to my account - try again successful but there was an 11 minutes gap between transactions ... not my fault!

Cheer: the tv wall mount bracket I wanted for the living room was 50% discount at GH.

I don't have to visit Grimsby for another couple of years at least.
Beer was cheap up there though, so every cloud and all that...

I have two daily cheers today!

First up I got my eldest sons car roadworthy and MOT for £260.

Secondly, I had this bad boy extracted...discretionary warning...

It's be a problem for a few years but the last couple of months have been awful...

    Ready?

    Are you sure?

    OK!

    Enjoy!

Btw mu others are all pearly whites, I am concerned about dry socket syndrome.

    But thank fvck its out!!!

It only took 20 minutes of tugging , twisting and pulling by my hot dentist to fulfill the ultimate relief.

Was out downtown yesterday evening for an end of songkran dinner and drinks with the old gym guys. Ended up dropping the 22 year old waitress back to her dorm upon closing before 9pm. With a big-bike ride detour and some chilling by a nearby lake, then to my hotel room to chill. Pillow talk 2 hours later before going to her dorm brought up the conversation of age and she thought I was 30. Upon finding out my age she visibly pulled back and splurted out That's my mum's age. Though I'm not sure if this is a daily cheer or daily moan.
