Crack on mate. I'm also curious to hear about how mc cains rate in the highly competitive pea market. There.chips are good but there's no room for imposters when it comes to peas.

Stick up your address and I'll send a Christmas card for that fireplace.

(have patience, our postal service is run by swedes, but I'm sure it'll be there next year at the latest )

Its been warm so far this winter. But there's a temp difference between upstairs and down that will get worse when the -20 hits. Some supplimental heat was in order.

We have a fireplace running all day and evening, when at home.

Wife loves it and battles the cats for the good spot

Umm you've been in se Asia too long if you think that fireplace has anything remotely to do with the 1970's. Its a fireplace. Not a television

the 70s were about backlit fake coal fires with electric bars, Nev is pretty spot on - that is fukin tacky. You could have at least got a modern electric one with a realistic fire behind flush glass. Have you got a sheepskin rug in front of yet?

Well you're just as fucked in the head as Nev as far as fireplaces go. And most things. This one is the standard of how modern fireplaces are built. And get a new pair of glasses. That isn't coal.

Last i checked my car has 4 wheels. You know what .... just like the 70's!! Har har

Backspit arguing with people who actually remember the '70s.

Nev is right. And your mantle and trim is dated as well.

So long as it keeps you warm, I guess.

Backspin will tell you his fireplace has a remote control.

He won’t tell you he isn’t allowed to play with it!

Listen to these clueless fucking doughheads

The all white look is the anti 70's, the anti tacky. Call it boring, call it bland but the last thing it is is fucking 70's. As if I don't know what the aesthetic of the 70's is. Quite evidently it is YOU and the gaggle of fuckwits in this thread that don't know what the aesthetic of the 70's is.
Lets look at the other offerings with tacky and 70's in mind

Call out my fireplace. That's not a problem. Call it boring, whitewashed or bland. Just please make an iota of fucking sense. Is that too much ? I pick the most contra 70's design of them all, and some retards call it nineteen seventies ! It just blows my fucking mind.

And if you hadn't noticed that the 1970's asthetic is coming back in, you must be living under a rock. Or in the case of NPT , Nev and Pickel, you didn't know what the 70's was in the first place. Even with the benifit of living in them.

Here is a 1970's fireplace makeover.

From this .................................................. ................................ to this.

Notice something .... The one on the top is vintage 1970's and it is made over to the clean modern contra 70's look. Which is exactly what mine is.
