Winter is nearly done with.

Might be early this year, can already see the buds starting to swell.

Been a wet winter too so hopefully no belly aching water companies with hose pipe bans and a few more chalk streams should be back until the water companies suck then dry again. Oh well.

I've stayed off the beer so far this weekend after, um, falling off the wagon (because of Willy ) the last two.

I never have a battlecruise during the week anyway, but how nice it is at the weekend to wake up fresh, put the coffee filter on (Lavazza, obviously) and sit down with a bacon and egg butty while watching a repeat of yesterday's Saturday Kitchen on one side and Match of the Day on the other?

That first ale later will taste all the better for it.
