Thread: Quitting Smoking cold turkey.

Poor performance, no effort demonstrated at all. Smoking causes so many illnesses but perhaps the worst in terms of trauma is that the monoxide poisoning inhibits blood circulation leading to gangrene and amputation of the lower limbs, not to mention being shackled to one's bed, breathing oxygen from a tank because emphysema has rotted your lungs or the stroke that has you anchored spastically in a chair all day while you defecate into your nappy, or the weekly trip for your dialysis because your kidneys have packed up, or wasting away because your oesophagus is full of cancerous tumours preventing you from eating anything other than baby mush.

I tried that method twice but had to stop just because those pills makes you mental. Might work for those who already are mental though..

Long term effects are still being evaluated but as so vividly manifested by Nappydickpoof, degeneration into anal-orientated, incoherent fuckwittery can be a significant danger and explains why most avoid the drugs.

It's called Chantix here in the US. I've been reliably informed that it's against DOT regulations to use Chantix in the operation of a CMV. That must be why.

I've also been informed, on TD, that I'm perfectly capable of fuckwittery...without the use of Chantix.

One of the tricks in quitting smokes is to keep yourself occupied and distracted, focused away from the evil you are trying to avoid “cigarettes”, and, contributing to a thread on the subject of smoking is well, kinda counterproductive…

The black gunk started coming up this morning, similar to 6 months ago when I quit for 3 weeks.
Lovely stuff, about half a cup full from 6 months of smoking.

Hopefully it's all out now,feeling dizzy and light headed again.

Decided to get on the new years health kick, better late than never.
No cigs today and only 2 yesterday.
Just ran 2 miles in 13 minutes on the treadmill for the first time in over a year.
Feels good to sweat the shite out of my system.
Sit ups,punch bag next.
Then Shoulders ,back and Biceps.
That Red bull and two bananas has really kicked in..
