Although he isnt ethnic Thai , he has Tibetan hill tribe ethnicity and as far as I'm aware , the name that he is called by in real life, is his real name , he has a hill tribe name, which Thais have never heard of (generally) .
There seems to be quite a degree of animosity between the hill tribes and the Thias .
I accidentally called Replacement "Ben " recently . And to cover up this slip of the tongue , I began singing the Thai National anthem "Ben sala , Thai irak simore la la la la " and got told to stop singing THAT song .
He did also arrive as a replacement .
I was walking down the street one day and his Mother called me over and asked why She longer sees me walking down the street everyday with Ben , as we seemed so happy , I told her that his Mum has gone and too him with her and She suggested that I take her son out for a walk .
