I've been best man twice. My first speech was a poem that is still hanging, framed, on their wall. The second I can't remember a word.

Aww...that was great! And so sweet. If I were the bride, I would be alternating between tears & laughs, just like the bride herself.

The tune is familiar (stay with me?), but the bro put his own lyrics/words to it, based on their life experiences. That took talent (and creativity)!

I've been a maid-of-honor once, for my elder sis' wedding. Had to do a speech too - I became teary-eyed a bit then. Lol. Been a wedding singer twice too, for some good friends.
