Well, since you asked.... I took the bus 113 then 145 (free... I don't know why some red buses are free and some are not) to Mega Bangna just so that I could have some Swedish Meatballz at Ikea. I also ate that chocolate cake that tastes...well... like a chocolate and can only get it at Ikea. Very delicious with 25 baht coffee from the machine.

Walked around the mall a bit wondering what will I have next time, but I didn't find anything interesting. How's Carl Jr. burger? Heard good things, but I also heard the same about Moss burger.

Took the free shuttle bus to BTS, then bus 25 to Sukhumvit71 where I took bus 71 to FBT then switched to 168 which took me home.

All in all another I did fuck all day today which is getting really depressing. I should be in Canada building a fortune instead of living here like a hermit.

I know a few guys who wasted their prime incoming earning years pissing around in Thailand and had to bail back to the real world in their 50's with fook all.

A simply fooked up situation to be in.

No way would i be pissing around here if not financial and secure enough to support it.

It's not that bad. I will be paying off my mortgage this year.

Went to Raizan Sennyoji Daihioin temple Itoshima (about 20 min drive from my house).

Fantastic spot... minus ion (air is so clean and fresh from the mountain) supposed to rejuvenate mind and body.

Anyway, here is the speel for those interested in the history.


Said to be founded in the year 178 by a “seiga shonin” (the term for Buddhist monk in Japanese) who came from India, the Sennyoji Daihioin Temple is known as Raizan Kannon. It played an important role in history as the prayer temple of the Kamakura feudal government, especially during the invasion attempts of the Mongolian army into Japan, when 300 additional hospices were built on the mountain.

Nationally designated cultural properties such as the standing, 1000-armed statue of Kannon (the goddess of mercy), a seating statue of Seiga Shonin, and other prefectural designated cultural items, including the Shinji Garden within the temple grounds are all available for public viewing. The 1000-armed statue has actual 1000 hands, all of which have eyes drawn on the palms. A side corridor features 500 “lohan” (achiever of Nirvana) who each have different facial expressions.

The autumn foliage beginning mid-November of the 400-year-old giant maple tree (also declared as prefectural natural monument) in the temple grounds is a must-see.
