Where do you fit in this range of IQ vs common sense?

Well, I'm not disagreeing with you. My IQ is rather high, 158 when it was last checked against a MENSA-managed test.

OTOH, I have zero common sense, which is why I kept on ending up with low-IQ women who have much more CS than me, and hence end up conning me out of $$$.

Happily, I have recognised this failing on my part, and only leave home with 500 baht for a night on the town, before returning home alone for a night of entertainment with a red rubber glove and some pig fat.

Any on-line IQ tests, including the MENSA admission test are dodgy.

I note that you give one numerical result only, indicating that at least, it was a self administered test, ie. unsupervised by a clinical psychologist present at the time of testing.

A clinical IQ test takes about an hour to do (timed and supervised in private isolation by a qualified clinical psychologist) and its evaluation takes even more time, results delivered no sooner than the next day, usually, appearing as two sets of figures denoting both left and right brain scores, neither side of the brain giving equal results, although some are very close, in extraordinarily well balanced brains.

You can get one done by referral from a qualified GP.

Often something like an MMPI is administered in conjunction, a 400 plus questionnaire that takes days to complete, (impossible to fudge, all answers yes/no.)
