I never met him, but had a generally cordial on-line interaction with him. Some of his rants were entertaining. What I do miss is having an involved owner of the forum. Like him or not, DD's stamp was all over his forum. That ended when he died.

Unfortunately, too true. Since DD’s departure the forum is headless and not the place it was. The current owner seems to be only interested in using TD for the promotion of his other online endeavors.

Still, I feel that TD is the only decent Thailand orientated forum.
