Ignoring the girls background, if she's going to be relocating abroad and leaving her 2 kids in Thailand with her parents having to take care of them, then 5k a week or 20k a month to provide schooling, food and roof over her own 2 kids heads is just basically going to cover the bare essentials. Nothing wrong in her demands as any mother wants to make sure her own children are provided for, in fact i'd say they are rather on the low side for her circumstances as I don't think any woman would be comfortable living the life of Riley in the West while their own children are living in poverty.

Not disputing that, but i'm presuming they all send money back to take care of their own children. Although the Thais I know with previous kids before they met their white knight in shining armour have all managed to bring them to the UK and fair play to them as in my opinion that's what any decent mother would do.

Why is average family income important? We are talking about an individuals circumstances, as you earn more it provides you with more options as in sending your kids to better schools and getting them a better education, maybe move to a nicer house etc.

If she's planning on working as an escort in the UK she'll be fuking loaded and 20k baht will be chump change, will earn that in a day, will just have to stay away from the roulette tables.....
