Hang in there Patsy. The human strength has no limits.
There is nothing to fear.
I like to think that there is more to life than this shit.

Ensure that you get all the information before any major procedure. I was not told to have a dental checkup. As a result the radiotherapy cost me 27 teeth - no dentures advised. This was at RAM, CNX's purported best hospital.
Crikey John, that's absolutely disgraceful.
As an alternate to John, I was told I had to have a dental check.
Fair enough. They explained clearly that any dodgy dental work had to be resolved before the therapy started.
OK
Got an appointment and turned up to meet this very pleasant Indian Dentist at the Darwin Private Hospital.
We chatted for a while and he confirmed everything the Alan Walker Cancer Care people had said.
He looked at my teeth.
After considerable humming and haaaing and wobbling of the head he reckoned that I needed to have an extraction.
I asked why?
"Well, it's a bit wobbly, better to pull it out", he said, smiling.
Now, I've always been very fortunate to have a full set of gnashers with no real problems ever. I was a bit surprised as I'd detected no wobbles or movement but, like you do when you're scared and more than a bit shakey in your self with the diagnosis you've just had I, of course, said fine. Whip it out.
The idea being that to try and do any kind of dental treatment during or post chemo is a no no.
So, out it comes.
Now, nigh on 8 months later dentists have said that there was no reason to extract it all. Even the Alan Walker Cancer team have raised their eyebrows as to the reasoning and justification behind it.
Turns out the dentist in question only gets paid if he actually does something, be it an extraction or whatever. He's on a kind of consultancy arrangement with the Hospital and they're stuck with him cos there aren't any dentists in the Northern Territory of Australia.
So.....
My point is..... ask, ask and ask again about anything they want you to do.
Make sure it's very clear in your head.
You're the one that matters.
Love and strength to you Patsy.
Upon reflection, it was not CNX RAM but a private practitioner in Huay Kaew Rd CNX.
Teeth!! Jeez, just add to the list! Im just getting the loss of my hair sorted!
All the best
Patsy ... all the best from the boys.
