Regrets!

Just wondering what people may or may not regret doing in life,
i have many but don't see much point regretting things you do as it's too late to change it after the event!
It's the things i think i should have done that i regret!

If i'd invested in so and so i'd be in a better position now?
If i'd gone to talk with the cute girl that smiled back at me?

I also regret spending my life trying to prove myself to others and not being more astute and focused and easily prone to quitting.

I should have done a film making, computer or business course instead of working in pubs for 6 years of my life in the mid/late 90's.

I was once offered a chance to go live/work/play rugby in the US for a year. I didn't because my girlfriend at the time said she didn't want me to go. We broke up 6mths later.

I was accepted into a renowned journalisim school. I declined it because my girlfriend at the time said she didn't want to be in different cities. She dumped me literally 2 days after I'd called to explained I wouldn't be attending.

Frankly, I regret not having the same cynical, hard attitude as my ex colleagues and in particular my ex wife. It has cost me a LOT of money. I regret the lawyers and accountants that I have had the misfortune to consult- they were money grubbing shites, who offered nothing of value. If you are paying for intellectual capital, my advice is cough up and buy the best.

I wish I hadn't sold my pad in Little Venice, but so what.
I wish I had actually done the deed with some of the Beauties that were available, rather than getting so pissed the Vicar could not perform.
I wish I knew then what I know now.

I value all my experiences and decision and can not regret them, they may not have been enjoyable, or the right thing, but I got something out of them in any case, and they have made me who I am today.
