You give the thais far too much credit. Antibiotic misuse is rampant all over the world. Here is an interesting little fact: 80% of all antibiotics sold in america are used by the meat and poultry industry.

Knowing that similar things are going on in china, and you get an idea of where the real threat arises.

Ah, I see that you are talking from knowledge and experience. That's never going to work here. However, if you tell the TD punters that antibiotics contain mercury (which their "research" will confirm is a poison) and that amoxycillin is normally administered via jet plane contrails and e-mails from Hilary Clinton then they will stay the hell away from antibiotics, thus becoming the human equivalent of petri dishes full of jam and poo and keeping all those nasty bacteria away from the rest of us.
