I Just Love Her To Bits!!

    55555...for entertainment only:
I very often chuck in a load of laundry when my beloved is cooking up a storm and I am fully engaged in emptying brown bottles.
Today threw in a load of colors (her indoors won’t let me near whites..Another story)…couple of flimsy pretty skirts I bought for her in Penang..Doubtful dyes so I hand washed and my assumption proved correct. Told her what I had done and she says “why you not wash in salt water to fix dye”…..to the moon, to the moon my dear! Gotta love her!

I've heard that a slight salt solution for silk garments is preferred - and hand washing only, of course...

    Were they silken items, Crepitas?
