Sounds like you got a better deal than me Norts.

I got one of these sexy French Door fridges after my old side-by-side carked it at crimbler. I bought it sight unseen off ebay based on the storage specs listed for the model on the LG website including 200 litre freezer and 400l litre fridge.

When it got delivered the specs were fictional cobblers. The freezer is no more than 100 litres maybe 80, the specs were for the freezer compartment, not the actual storage space available once you insert the stupidly tiny drawers they have designed for it. The fridge is no more than 230 litres once the gigantic icemaker (which I do not use) volume is subtracted.

It looks gigantic but is like a reverse tardis once you open the doors.

These LG coonts should be put up against a wall.

I've got a secondhand Smeg fridge that's a bit like that, though to a lesser extent. I guess there is a trend these days towards frozen food, though my own personal preference is away from that.

    Why so Salsa?

They reckon frozen peas can be even better than fresh for nutrients since it is frozen right after picking whereas 'fresh' is often days old

Life force...it ain't the same after being frozen, though I guess it could be argued that frozen embryos still work.

Peas are a f'kin disgrace - and you know it!!!

I might get around to adding some photos of my new purchase (however, they look remarkably similar to my last pair of Momotaros, and the pair before that and the pair before that and the pair before that).

To celebrate the wife's survival, I bought meself a new pair of jeans - a limited edition that I noticed on my favourite Japanese jeans website... I was both happy that:

    1) The wife survived. At some points it really didn't look like she would... Here's an indication of her problems from a hospital document:

    2) The bill was 16 million won (which in itself isn't bad considering she spend 16 days in hospital; 3 in an isolation unit, 3 an an emergency ICU, 3 in "ICU 2" and the other 5 in a maximum care respiratory ward (4 people were in the ward when the wife was moved in, 2 beds were empty before we left, and the last patient in there when we left was deteriorating - very sad. They were older than the wife, but these respiratory problems are not a nice way to go), but the insurance paid 75%. That's a bill of about 430,000 Thai baht, and I ended up paying a bit over 100,000 Thai baht. The insurance really helped out...

So the new jeans - 15.7oz. Sanforized Momotaro Original Indigo x Black Selvedge denim; so they are nice and dark, but will lighten up to a glorious blue with wear.

Here is my set (actually, I have one more pair of Copper Label in a 32" which I may never fit into again...):

    From L to R:

Black that I wear to work.

New pair as in other pics.

Normal everyday pair that I wore for 14 days straight, 24 hours a day in the hospital... They are so comfy.

IndigoxBlack pair that I've had a while and are very blue now. They are a much slimer cut with taper which isn't my favourite style.

Copper Label edition which I really like, but are a size 34", so just a bit hurtful upon my hernia (I'll get that operation done once the wife has recovered more).

^^ Harsh, but... if I could afford a convertible Porsche than I'd probably buy one, so you could be right.

Lower waist, slimmer thigh and knee then tapers down to a small (18cm) hem at the bottom. If I were spending a shifter's night out with Dilly then these would be the option...

Fooking hell Betty. Her indoors was seriously fucked, good they got her sorted. Still reckon those jeans are a bit effeminate

^ It's fair to say that she wasn't well. The first time a doctor called me into a room saying that things are deteriorating fast, and I should prepare for the worst - it was hard to take. The second time, it was kinda expected, and I was turning my mind to how to get the body home, telling her parents, etc. After that, it's all a bit numbing and you just get on with doing whatever you can. Since she got home, there's been a massive improvement - just getting a good night's sleep in her own bed, having the dog around, eating Thai food, etc.

Now, on a more serious note, can we at least agree that the Momotaro Copper Label jeans (on the far right) are not in the slightest bit effeminate?

Apparently for the right price, some turn a blind eye.
