Yea I know what you mean, I have the " frugal" gene also and every time it is activated I end up paying for it twice. You would thing after 65 years of life I will have learned my lesson, and though Intellectual I know I should not go "Cheap" I often cant resist my nature and curse myself for it later LOL
If you are anything like me, I don't think you have learned your lesson

So far all the BeerLao I have purchased and drank has been quite good. I really like the BearLao white but this IPA is quite good as well for 54 bht a bottle. The White is in low supply here.

I concur. I have not looked into the history of the brewery but It would not surprise me if it was originally owned/ started by a French brewery as were many of the Vietnamese breweries. Bia Larue of Vietnam is a particular favorite of mine and was started by a Frenchman I believe.

Founded in 1971, the Lao Brewery Company was at that time a joint-venture between French and Lao businessmen

('at that time a joint-venture', Frenchman went for a swim in the Mekong and never came back.)

All machinery is imported from Europe. The company processes locally grown rice and imports malted barley from France and Belgium, and hops and yeast from Germany.

    As I suspected.

Not really, because they are not falsely using a specific breed or regional name.

There isn't Snubs. Trust me. . Only Wagyu here is what you find imported by your higher end stores.

There isn't. They had one wagyu bull that they used to inseminate Thai cattle, then they slapped on the name Thai Wagyu to the resulting breed.

Really quite a load of bullox.

Decided to move my 65" TV out to the pool bar. Wife wasn't overall happy with my impulse idea but anyway

Tracked down a very heavy duty TV wall mount

    Got it all installed

All installed and ready to watch some NFL, NBA and MLB....

Yeah, you know my preference is AFL, Rugby and cricket. But I’ve watched F1 with a German, EPL with Brits, volleyball & beach volleyball with a Canadian (that’s like into Aussie and winter sports) and Baseball, Basketball and NFL with an American.

all are good if you understand what you are watching

If there isn't a game on, you can use it to shave.

Will you install blinds to kill the reflection?
