Old bag could not be bothered to take the little girl to the toilet so she got her to pee on the floor of the plane !

I have heard horror stories of people traveling on low-class buses in China and torrents of piss flowing down the aisle, but this is the first time I have heard of them using airliners for toilets.

You really have to wonder how an adult human could do this. Even in nature the expression "don't shit in your own nest" is pervasive, yet these peasants will shit and piss where they have to sit or stand.
It beggars belief.

It appears the authorities are taking note of Chinese tourists behaviour. Lessons and peobably a passport stamp ensures only qualified tourists leave their home province.

"Chinese tourist agencies and local authorities are hoping that lectures given to tourists ahead of the May Day holiday can avoid the unruly behavior for which the country's travelers and sightseers have become notorious.

In recent years, Chinese tourists' misdeeds ranging from brawling on flights to defacing landmarks at home and abroad have made headlines, sparking angry discussion over the disparity between their bulging wallets and their behavior.

In Wuhan, capital of Hubei Province, Wanda Xinhangxian International Travel Agency gave clients who paid for a group trip to Thailand during the holiday a lesson in etiquette. "Don't rush to take your luggage before the airplane stops. Don't waste food on the buffet table. Don't be noisy at scenic spots. Don't point at Buddhist sculptures...," read promotional material.

The company's Yao Hui said the lessons were required under a directive from provincial tourism authorities.

"Tour guides must repeat the basics, such as no littering and no scrawling on landmarks," Yao said.

Hubei authorities are also watching incoming tourists as the province is a popular tourist destination known for natural wonder including the Three Gorges and Wudang Mountains.

Last week, the provincial tourism department launched a campaign encouraging sightseers to send photos and videos of misbehaving tourists to its WeChat account, promising to name and shame anyone whose identities can be verified in the images. "

Rural, uneducated folk, the world over, live in certain ways. When transplanted to a large, strange, foreign, city they get a little scared and what happens , they have a shit.

Or is this common practise in urban China as well? In the Chinese cities I have been to it was not prevalent, but they were the international ones.

Somehow I doubt a Cornish yokel, Siberian onion farmer, South African street cleaner or Indian untouchable would shit in an elevator or piss on the carpet in a plane. Common sense, no matter what your culture, tells you that those disgusting things are taboo. Everywhere.

The nouveau riche have funny manners world wide. Some, whatever their upbringing, never learn polite behaviour. Some are "disgusted" with some foods the Asians eat. But don't let different customs get in the way of your prejudices.

when hong kong disneyland opened, the mainland chinese tourists would grope the tits of the alice in wonderland character, and punch pooh bear and goofy.
