I remember when I bought a somewhat large position of Bombardier in 2007 and as soon as I bought the sucker started dropping.

Then it would go back up a bit, just to give me hope and then drop again.

Then me trying to daytrade the shit out of it to make some money (which I did.... $2,000, but lost $30,000)

Man, I was a complete noob.

Well, bitcoin kinda reminds me of that.

    Good luck everyone

Oh well fuck it. I've given up on the notion of a Lambo anyways.

Instead I shall much more sensibly be investing in one of these:

    ...what could possibly go wrong??

I'm down about 50% but I also sold some prior and made a profit but I'm shit at maths and can't be arsed working it out.

I only put in a couple thousand $ anyways so by total probably not me.

Plus it's not lost until sold!

the past is clearly demonstrated and evidenced in this thread, dimwit

you are only convincing yourself that you are not committing tax evasion and "illegal" trades, and that they are not watching

Ignoring the fact that generally you are a 'wise after the event' wanker......it did all seem rather predictable.

Yes exactly. Except I didn't go in at the top, I sold some for a profit. Oh and I have't sold low.

So actually not exactly at all.

I was a "wise before the event" wanker, remember how I got vivified for warning all those poor fools

the sad thing is they don't even realize how foolish they acted,

they could have spent their money on their wife with a new necklace, or their kids with new toys, or simply put it away for rainy days, because in Thailand, it's always a question of time before that happens, and it happens

90% of the expats I have met here, even after 20 years living here, find themselves in the shit eventually

taxi's apparently intent on spending his retirement obsessing over what he imagines to be my finances.

That tells me he's quite insecure about his own.

CoinList raises $9.2 million to expand its ICO services

CoinList, a provider of financial services for staging and managing initial coin offerings (ICOs), has raised $9.2 million in new equity financing. Investors include token-focused funds like Polychain Capital, Blockchain Capital, and FBG Capital.

Why it matters: The past year has seen a boom in digital tokens and initial coin offerings. Though that's slowing down a bit, tokens are not going away. CoinList, which spun out of AngelList last year, is also well-positioned to cash in on the new trend as regulators begin to clamp down on fraudsters: one of the services it provides is helping with legal compliance.

Investors: Additional investors include Digital Currency Group, Libertus Capital, CoinFund, Electric Capital, Accomplice, and Protocol Labs (which help launch CoinList last year with its own ICO).
