Baldrick, or anyone else who knows: There's an ETH hard fork in a few days; my ETH is offline on my Nano; should it be on an exchange in order to benefit (if there is a benefit)?

Not liking what's going on in the ROK. Could be contagious.

Hey, just confirmed, convert your spare cash into ETH for the fork on 18/19th...should cause alts to spike or at least hold their own against spooks and other scary things that create red screens.

The ETH I withdrew to my wallet cost 0.005, and another something just to return it to bx...so much for decentralisation, could go broke just cashing in profits!

Does that mean it's gonna go up or down?

Think that 0.005 is around 260thb or something.

How much was it to transfer back?

So am I trading my eth away for eth zero in the fork? Or do I keep both?

You’d keep both as long as your funds are in a wallet instead of an exchange.

How to benefit from the fork if offline?

Real dumb...now I've converted my BTC to ETH and have to pay another withdrawal fee! Should've waited and done them together.

Ok, slow learner but getting there.

I don't have a private key to my Nano, just a recovery passphrase, and not a clue what an ETZ wallet is.

Jamie Dimon, mid-September: Bitcoin is a fraud.

Jamie Dimon, mid-October: "This is the last time I talk about Bitcoin. BItcoin is 'a great product' if you are a criminal. Governments like to control their economies, currencies. Governments are going to crush Bitcoin one day. Who cares about Bitcoin? People who purchase Bitcoin are stupid. I don't understand the value of something without value. I could care less about Bitcoin."

Early Dec, JPMorgan announce a joint venture with two other banks using blockchain.

I reckon they realise there's money to be made from this young and unregulated industry, and crucially that it's here to stay, so positioning to pounce and ultimately control it.

of course it's a scam, and of course Bitcoin traders are stupid idiots, if they weren't, they would put money into real productive assets instead of playing lotto, or roulette, or Bitcoin all day

redhaze is TD's resident contrary indicator for crypto-currencies.

he's now bought at two tops and sold at one bottom...and probably a second because he's been tellingly quiet of late.

whatever transaction he makes, do the opposite as quickly as possible...you'll be in no time.

    All good bud.

My portfolio's about 0.3% less than it was last night.

Was about 7% less an hour ago.

0.03% is small money for such excitement.

REP pushing on like a muthafoker. 25% for the day, up to 24% of my portfolio as everything else has withered away.

I picked up so much 0.0000xxxx (DOG, HYP, QRK, XCN) during the blitz at ridiculous prices, was just raking them in, with the unintended and just noticed consequence that XCN is 8% of my portfolio, equal with REP. Don't know if I'll ever get rid of these junkies, fun to watch...
