coins is a broker that deals only in BTC.
bx is a trading platform that deals in about 20 different cryptos. You're using it as a platform to buy and sell off other people, and not the website/company themselves.

I withdrew 22% of my BTC holdings this morning. Needed to wait til 10am for them to do it. 10am-8pm can withdraw/deposit.
Transferred into BX and as soon as it goes through will double my number of REP coins (currently doing 25.12% for the day) and put the rest into BCH (Bitcoin Cash - currently doing 23.46% for the day)
Missed the BCH gravy train yesterday when FRT and HW would have made around 9% and I only made 3%.
Splitting it with REP because REP has been consistently doing 20%+ per day for a week or so, and BCH has just started in the last 2 days or so, going by their graphs.
Nice indeed. :)
Lots looking good today.

Just doubled my REP holdings and bought into BCH.
Tomorrow morning's coffee should hopefully taste extra tasty with the accompanying portfolio check. :)
Sold BTC on coins, which transfer to my Thai bank account.
Transfer THB from my Thai bank account to my BX wallet. Buy the REP and BCH on that.
Both already lost money since I bought in. :party43:
:)
Don't know the exact fees. Checked, but didn't make a mental note in %'s.
The OMG I bought 2 days ago at 443thb now 690thb and rising. The LTC was 8,800 I think, now 12,225.
I'll be happy enough with steady rises that average 3% or so on my total portfolio to be honest, if hit 5% some days, great. 3% a day seeing it double in a month.
Think I'm at about 70% in 3 weeks thus far.
Does anybody know what the deals are regarding exchanging CC Tokens for cash deposits into your bank account. Daily/amount restrictions, weekly, monthly etc.
Not what you mean, but coins has a 600,000thb daily withdrawal/deposit limit. BX has no daily or amount limits.
i had a look at bx.in.th (never traded there) and it looks like you can withdraw coin, but can't deposit any.
is that right? have you withdrawn any coin to your wallet?
it's strange that coins.co.th doesn't allow you to withdraw your bitcoins directly. maybe they aren't trading real bitcoins.
normally (other sites) you can move your bitcoin from one exchange to another using the block chain (confirmed in 20 minutes).
example (bitcoin): just push the withdraw button for bitcoin.
push the deposit button on another exchange (get the adddres)
paste the address in the withdraw space.
done and no fee.

That's exactly what you can do. :)
Wallet to wallet from coins to BX.
Can trade BTC for other crypto then on BX.
Doing cash has less fees and less loss though.
it's compiling prices from different exchanges and crypto currencies from what I understand, probably to mitigate the wild swings of BTC
here the official website of the index for more info

any one dealing through etoro.. having probs with access.
Correction to my last...
I've had a read through of a recent document released in November by the Reserve Bank of NZ. Fairly well researched piece, they are of the opinion that the IRDs stance on CC is most accurately portrayed in a 2014 article stating that if CC is not used to trade goods (incurring GST) or as payment for wages (incurring PAYE) it should be treated as a foreign currency.
It's a fairly old article and I've read more recent articles saying it should be treated as an asset thus incurring CGT. It's clear there is no clear cut policy ATM so take from that what you will. Do your own research and consult a tax specialist to be sure.

Medians
Bitcoin spot prices have historically varied considerably across trading venues, in
particular in times of high volatility. The use of medians to calculate the weighted
median trade price for each partition (as opposed to averages) greatly reduces the BRR’s
susceptibility to price extremes on one or more Constituent Exchanges.
Volume-Weighting of Medians
Bitcoin trading is driven to some extent by automated algorithms that may execute a
high number of small trades. The use of volume-weighted medians to calculate the
weighted median trade price for each partition (as opposed to simple medians) assures
that the BRR appropriately reflects large trades and that whether an order is executed
in parts or in full has no effect on calculation results.
