XVG is still a joke - it is not a privacy coin - so who is going to pay for porn with a publically trackable doge fork

I think BTC has still yet to shake out and will go again to at least 6 k

The Bitcoin price is seen up with small gains of 0.5% on Tuesday, despite being in the green, it is underperforming in comparison to some of the other major cryptocurrencies. There has been some life propped back into the altcoins, after a very soft start to the week, as seen on Monday.

BTC/USD was stopped again by a long-running ascending trend line, that had been running from September 2017. This is proving to be some serious barrier for Bitcoin, not allowing it through to trade back above and break out of the long-term bearish trend.

The resistance is tough at $8,400, where the trend line tracks. A bearish pennant pattern can also be seen forming, with current price action. This break would confirm the downside trend is still very much active for BTC/USD. Support to the downside is currently seen just below the $7,000 mark at $6,900, then further would be back towards $6,000 level.
    yesterday had a sudden drop

When the urge to splurge on a bit of online pron instant gratification hits who is gonna sign up for Binance and wait for the KYC process only to find out they need to deposit some BTC to trade for XVG, then sign up somewhere else to get some BTC, send it to their Binance wallet incurring the ridiculous BTC fees & wait time, just to buy some XVG semi-anon coin when they could just use a Credit Card?

It would have to be some absolutely determined wankers.
Some people think it don't, but it be.

IMF chief Christine Lagarde has dedicated her latest two blog posts on the official IMF website to cryptocurrencies. In her latest post, she outlines multiple benefits of crypto and envisages a large-scale shift away from government-issued currencies towards cryptocurrencies.

She also stated, March, a worldwide effort was required to:

"ensure that the same rules apply to protect consumers in both digital and non-digital transactions. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and other regulators around the world now apply the same laws to some initial coin offerings (ICOs) as they do to offerings of standard securities. This helps to increase transparency and alert buyers to potential risks."

In other words move into the same types of regulated spaces, as other financial instruments.

I hope some of these executives are jailed to send a strong message to the rest of the MBAs

Not too sure, will total it up in the next few days. Would imagine around -30% or so.

    Cryptocurrencies: It’s just Candy Crush

by Richard Berstein of Richard Bernstein Advisors, Apr 18
If the only difference between playing for digital coins in mobile games and mining for cryptocurrencies is the ability to openly trade the coins for goods and services, one should wonder if the crypto frenzy is worth the hype and speculation. We think not.

just a hunch, but at some point this is going to run up again. maybe not to 20,000 like before, but higher than where it's at today. my advice for those still holding would be to keep your eyes open for an opportunity to get out. you might miss out on some of the upside, but whoever/whatever drove it down a couple of months ago will be standing by to drive it down again.

Can't see it dead, too much at stake for the big money and opportunists. More likely they will generate continuous uncertainty to keep the markets volatile and pick off a couple billion here and there.

    Aesop covered this long ago.

    Nope, still -40%.

Though which is better than the -50% it's been for the last few months.

I was there too, dealt with it, but for some reason it seems to cause you a problem?

Never mind, you'll get over it, I did.

I meant virtual wallet, what your handbag buys hopefully makes her look classy anyway. I hope, as does she.
