up 10% for the week (including december dive).
up 14% from here will put me back at my all-time total portfolio value high:
I kinda like this Clif High guy...
have to admit i got a bit lucky when i effectively shorted bitcoin
(selling it on the 19th and buying it back on the 21st --- not at its low, though as its hard to catch a falling knife, as it were, of course)
good fun, though riding this roller coaster.
Yeah, you've obviously done well for yourself having the money to throw away, considering you're a Thailand TEFL lifer.
*cough*
poor cyrille, always so jealous of those who've found ways to make decent money in thailand.
while cyrille is stuck, suffering most of the year in the desert,
just so he could afford to buy a tiny, tiny house in chiangmai for his thai wife to live in
and for cyrille to visit a couple times a year.
A lot of sideways movement this week, then BTC flash crashed and took every other coin with it.
XRP also dropped but bounced straight back up 10 minutes later. I like these signs. XRP starting to uncouple from BTC and show the value of good fundamentals & 'centralised' leadership.
Boring few days.
Where are the 20% gains, followed by 50% losses, followed by 30% gains gone.
for those that are still silly enough to be holding BTC
the segwit2 fork today is nothing but a scam - do not be fooled into downloading and installing a wallet to claim the B2X coins
This is a great thread because i love to see punters making money.
At the same time i feel like I'm at the Casino watching some happy dude going balls in on Red.
Got no faith in this coinbase anymore luckily only dumped £470 originally as came to the conclusion if wouldn't let me play with more than £500 a week pretty pointless. Anyway sold my 2 precious LTC last week and it wouldn't let me transfer back to my bank account and instead opened up some Euro wallet and put the money there and every time try withdraw the funds it keeps saying add bank acc even though they have both my cc and dc account linked, won't let me withdraw. So anyway bought back in with same cash and now proud owner of 2.09 LTC with same funds.
you didn't see this in the fine print when you bought in?
My bad, i only the read the parts that interest me as in fees, never envisaged any problem withdrawing cash but then again in should have considering how much effort it actually took me to open the account. But as i said only a bit of chump change that I'd lose/win on a rugby/football match just thanking Buddha that they never let me gambled what I intended.
I finally setup another bx.in.th account up and going for a Thai person.
They kicked off Americans back in August but the signup page still sports a USA passport and the dopey picture of Zimmerman.
Going to buy some ETH and/or DASH to trade for some more LTC which is poised to take off to the moon next year.
Theres gonna be a couple more brokers giving them competition shortly.
Litecoin will indeed skyrocket
And Bitcoin's gonna go down to 2000 usd
I heard it off a fat American bloke with his cap on sideways
