Thumbs up New Year's Resolutions !

Are you going to make any meaningful or serious Resolutions for change in the new year ?

I'm not talking about having on-line sex with Kaitlyn Jenner ....but it's okay - you can if you wish.

I'm talking about a meaningful change (ie: quite smoking cancer-ettes or stop beating ones MIL).

    I'll start...er , urm ...mmm...
I am going to try to step away from being on-line. I no longer want to continue losing the master-slave relationship with too many hours spent on-line.

So what will I achieve with this new found free time that my resolution might bring forth ?
Am I going to have active discussions with gf ? Of course not.
I've purchased War and Peace and I'm going to give it a good read...for the second time.
I'm going to take studying chess a little more seriously so I can possibly beat 10-year-old Evigney from the Ukraine.
    So on and so forth.

So do other members have any significant resolution(s) that they with to share ?

boloa, you really have a love-hate relationship over them . What's up ?

Why don't you just go on their site and let them know how you feel ? I did.
I requested change after this past month's heavy-handed moderating.
I personally felt that dissent should be allowed a voice in any argument.
To ban posters that actually post ---shooting themselves in the foot IMHO.
    The management disagreed.
A bit the same as the current regime in LOS...that's their choice , not mine.
Now I'll stick to my resolution. A much lower profile in the new year.

I'm not to the point of getting banned even though I'm considered quite controversial ...just to the point of scaling down as a poster.

Sadly as many get older they find it harder to accept another opinion. Funny that.

Feel free to send me a PM on any forum if you wish. I'm not sure if any are secure. Take it easy and Good Luck.

#4. Spend lots of quality time with my Nana (she's 93 so probably not going to be around much longer) they brought us up like their own kids... love them more than I love myself or anything in this world.

    I don't believe in them.

People who do hese NY resos often fail at them.

Fitness center / gym memberships spike after Jan 1, and within a couple months these people are quit.

Same with smoking and other vices.

    Make the change today.

^^^ I'm on roll trying to change wrong to right.
The "master-slave" relationship with the internet has been pared down on other avenues...so my actual hours on-line are down.
No worries as I've got the whole year, eh.

Still must await a kindle that should be brought back when a friend returns...
I'm halfway through W & P...and playing an inordinate amount of chess.
Sadly the quality of TD had drooped in January.

I surmise that you must be viewing that "other forum" quite a bit to know what and where I'm posting.
I go against the grain, no worries. One day at a time.
Thanks for thinking about me. Just make sure you're wearing your trousers, okay. ;-)) t-i-c
