    Sardine sandwich

Been riding the bike a lot. Long distance, seeing lots, taking lots of pics too. ( sadly this antique forum software isn't compatible with the modern cyclist)
I like the sardine sandwich. Bread and sardines you can find everywhere. Makes a pleasant change from rice this and rice that.
I'd like oatmeal but that's impossible to find outside the makro in phuket.

OK graphao moo sai kai dao is OK but. ....after a while. ... the little sardines are nice.

So whatever happened to egg sandwich? He was a good bloke, did cnuty willy run him off too?

I'd prefer a decent pickled/oiled sardine without the expected smathering of tomato sauce...

Ok Mr Earl, you suckered me into this one. I recall an all you can swill joint call The Old Country Buffet. Their tag line was" Old Country Buffet, you better be hungry. "

I went into a store in Pakse Laos, for a dollar tin of sardines they wanted three bucks. The tuna mayo on French bread saved my life after eating at a local shop gave me the spitz.

Eggsandwich was a jerk it turned out. He kept coming back with different nics (abberlour, fozzy among others) trying to be civilised and fit in but could never help reverting to his jerk self and getting himslf banned.

    Agree about sardine sandwiches.

Scotland yes France not so easy, you're stuck pretty good bread morning noon and night.

I only found oatmeal once in tiny town in Dordogne.

Sure looks good, I was just in Chumpon a couple times recently. Riding the bike to ChiangMai and return on the train.
