On a hot day Pacifico is much better than Corona.

    FF,
    Ever try Pyramid Apricot Ale?
This stuff is great! Goes good with spicy food.

Not sure if it's in LOS- But if you see some try it!

Had a six pack in my refer once back n the US. Had a few of their other brews. but apricot ale? I don;t like apricots. Spent a year in a fuckin' jail, they served stewed apricots & toast for breakfast every other day. Stewed Apples the other days. Sunday were special, Watery Oatmeal. Haven't eaten a fuckin' apricot since. Dunno why, but I don't mind apples so much.

    I always loved Pyramid.

Used to drink Sierra Nevada all the time, I do miss the beer in California.

Lagunitas is a brewery in Mendocino county, I think made some decent ales. There were so many small local breweries in California hard to even think of them all Downtown brown was a brown ale made inteh Bay Area dunno the name of the brewery.
So many limited breweries didn't bottle their beers, but sold growlers. Half gallon at a time take in the jug they'd wash it, fill it up. give you a new cap. send you home with a nice full jug.

    ^ & ^^

This is better than all the beers mentioned. Not that most of you bed wetters would have the class, dignity and taste to enjoy one.

^ Compared with Thai beers, that's actually quite drinkable. Wouldn't touch the stuff if I was back in Blighty though.

Isn't that the one that blue haired ladies order in lounge bars?

Not a bad beer, but I wouldn't drink it because it kicks like a horse the next day.Reminds me of NZ Steinlarger..really nice beer...but I wouldn't drink it if it was free. The hangover is death warmed up.
