Then it was off to the Nevis Valley for a bit of off road stuff.
Polaris RZR 4x4. They might crack 100KPH, but they get there really quickly.A whole lot of fun.
Didn't take too many photos, because we we under about 3 layers of clothing and covered in mud....

As you can see, went right up to the snow line.About 5000' above sea level.
Then it was off to the pub for a quiet ale....
Great pic, very Thai...
Kiwiland has some beautiful places.
I will get there one day, I have a free flight on Frequent flyers.
Will be when its warming up though.
Great Pics by the way.
^It's quite hot in the summer Tel, and accommodation is cheaper.
Lots to do, plenty of good pubs and eateries. Very friendly place. Lots of very nice eye candy too.
The first taxi driver we had was an Aussie. I asked him how long he had been there and he said "I arrived in 1980 and never left"
Quality thread for a quality place. More to come?
Just out of Queenstown is a quaint little town called Arrowtown.
They have this sweet shop there that sells the most amazing...er...sweets.
I was under strict orders to buy a crap load for nieces and nephews. (I'm more a pie man myself...who ate all the pies!!)
I like best what you've shown so far of Queenstown. Brilliant!
But just a tad expensive, EH?
There's that famous bridge where bungie jumping started, they will even make a video of you when you jump.
The Queenstown Gentlemans club is worth a visit, value for money to get sorted.
Brilliant pics mate. Lovely looking place.
Last but not least was a trip up the Gondola...
What a view from the top!
Look at this mad prick...

And finally a mulled wine to warm up the heart of your cockles....
That's the AJ Hackett Bungy Jump off the Kawarau Bridge. Did it 20 years ago. A blast at the time, but not again.Didn't cure my fear of heights, that's for sure.
There is a couple of strip joints and 2 casinos in Queenstown.
No need for a strip joint or gentlemans club when there is so much fluff walking around.Everybody is in party mode.

That's the problem with Kiwis (one of the problems...), they live in a beautiful country, but are all over the shop with their decision making...
[perhaps that's why they always have their hands in the ruck; should they, shouldn't they, so hard to decide until the ref shouts the rules at them...]
^Everybody loves an encore Betts.Especially the AB's.
