    Where did you go today?

Today I went on a little bike ride.

I took Eddo Cheddo's advice and decided to try these new fangled disc brakes. The punter was asking $85 for this GT. I offered him $70 and my haggling skills must be improving as I did not even have to engage my 'slow walk back to teh Jaag' tactic before he accepted.

I took Chitty's advice and got some spanky prostate protector shorts too. Thought I would go for standard jack black to contrast with my Mother's Pride pasty pins.

She nimbly forded this rock bed as a shox test. I then got her up to 50kmh on a downhill on the hardtop and she was as smooth as a whistle. And Eddo was on the money too, as these shiners pull the rig up quicker than a rimjob on a dime.

The local fauna were impressed. Nice ear colouration on this bewt

No you can't get back in. You're too big. Its time you found your own place!

    Work.

And then in the the garden, where I was joined by some neighbors, who got me ready and fit on ale, to challenge the daily Seattle Lunacy.

A bargain, it would probably cost you more than $70 for a pair of new tyres.

Took a nice mtn bike ride (18km) as weather has been overcast and cool. Returned and drove wife and FIL to the hospital as my FIL is back to his continual stomach ailment and doesn't listen. Up and down the stairs to prep my dinner to grill.

Been wanting to go turn and burn on my moto but weather too unpredictable.

    Pretty relaxing Saturday.

...first to Viven Grocery for garlic dill pickles and pickled okra and then to nearby Pala for a tuna tartare starter and a pan-fried sea bass in lemon-caper sauce...home in time for a nap and cocktail hour...

Woke up a little worse for wear, but a swim in the pool soon sorted that. Decided to head into BKK and check out the Siam Museum, which was from an architectural standpoint, stunning.

The highlight for me today was the Railway Museum- it's bit hard to find given the state of the Hua Lamphong at the moment- you need to climb over the barrier at the far left of the main (now closed) entrance. You can call the guard over to help open it up if you can't climb though. The museum is quite small over three floors, but it is well curated and the staff speak good English and are very welcoming.

After nursing my hangover, which are very rare as I seldom touch alcohol, I went and bought materials for a temporary gate for my new garage.

Still have interiour stuff to do before the final finish and want to be on top of the snow.

Then went to the garden, where I apparently have neighbors taking up afternoon residence.

    Nice with overbearing kids

Yeah. They were doing all the tricks in the book. First time I've seen the new tricks live and up close.

Washed the car, went to the butchers, back home, met up with a couple of mates and had a couple of beers, had drinks and snacks at my place, back out to a couple of pubs, said goodbye, back home and tidied up, cracked a Cote Du Rhone and realised i wished Gwyneth Paltry had carked it in Contagion.

You know I fancy some sour sausage, not that bloke in Patters, the chinky type with slivers of ginger and that small garlic that works great with Chang.

I speak English as my first language.

I know exactly what it means.

Which part do you not understand?

@looper - nice legs! Need a bit more tanning, though.

You're always giving compliments to my legs or ankles (in my hike thread), so I'm returning the favour.

Haven't gone anywhere today yet, but will go out later to a mall & buy some stuff.
