    Hotels

The missus and I are planning a few days or so farking about in Seoul next month before she heads back to Thailand.

I have been trying to work out where to stay. I am not very good at working out anything in Korean and was intending on just staying at a normal tourist hotel. I kept hearing that Love Hotels were the way to go.

After finding this hotel I decided that it's the place to be

    - JELLY HOTEL -

What is that in the bedroom? Is it a sex toy? Is it a giant jacuzzi? No it's a

    - JELLY HOTEL -

70dollars a night I think so not too expensive

I see what you mean about the sex toy. A strange bed combination - a single for the missus and a double for you and your girlfriend.

I thought the 'Nude Jelly Room' was going tobe interesting but Nude in this context just seems to mean 'basic'

The whole site is a bit gay though, all that pink and all.

That's the Korean idea of macho. That's why they all wear nice pink Pringle jumpers.

^ Only if the missus can a) play pool, and b) sink the brown after the beer buzz kicks in.

Looks pretty swanky for a love motel. Love motels are great -- giant jacuzzi, big screen tv, big beds. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Where in Seoul is this? The map is all in Korean.

    I don't know Durianfan.

    I can't work it out.

    BTW I saw a Durian in E-mart this week for 60,000Won = 2000B

Yeah it's mad expensive here. I've seen them frozen in Asian food marts, but no thanks. There's a love hotel thread over at Dave's -- they also list loads of them in Seoul, but that Jelly one looks nicer than any I've seen.

Okay I just asked my coteacher to translate. Looks like it's right by Kukmin bank between Gagnam and Yeoksam subway stops.

By the name of it, they must sell a lot of KY Jelly.

The China room includes a jacuzzi. The pool table could be used for a variety of things. I may check it out.

Let us know of your experience if you go there Mrsquirrel. I mean regarding the hotel.

I have seen a couple at a good price with four person jacuzzi - 60 dollars but a coupon for 15k off was available.

    Pretty good stuff.

I haven't been in a bath that fits me for 20 years now.
