^ no problem. It's one of my hobby interests among a few others that help me pass the time.

Now for an album cover to contribute to the thread.

Here's an album titled "Rain on a Conga Drum - Live in Berlin" from Townes Van Zandt. Allmusic summarizes Townes as "Among the most widely admired and influential Texas songwriters, an alt-country godfather with a dry, witty, allusive writing style." He was a favorite of Bob Dylan's and was known as a song writer's song writer. I've got several of his albums and compilations in my collection.

Yes, you are correct mate, this pic was taken outside Townsville after I stripped the timing belt on the HR.

We had started off in Perth. That night in the Adelaide hills heading towards Melbourne I can always remembering listening to " Physical Graffiti " for the first time.

" Boogy With Stu " was the track I always remember.

    That's irrelevant though innit.

I only offed my Albums 5 years ago after lugging them around for 40 odd years.

In Bangkok Vinyl is huge, Imports are worth a wedge of money. Quality turn tables worth Thousands of dollars for Top end stuff.

" Fortune Town " at Rama 9 has specialist shops with massive collects of Vinyl and Top end turn tables.

Blimey, it's been so long I'd forgotten about that.
    greened.

I had a nostalgic moment this morning.
Showered shaved and shampooed, a warm breeze, sun shining, stroling out on a Saturday morning in jeans and sneakers, the world my oyster. Those were the days.
I relived the feeling for a few moments I actually remembered what it felt like. Wierd.

Did it feel like that at the time though?

If so then good for you.

For me, I was mostly ripped (in the old sense of the word) and wondering how I'd get through my exams without having done any work.

    And I considered that 'pressure'.

I saw Focus live in Brisbane, 1975. Fantastic concert ! The quiet tracks on this album are utterly beautiful, and the loud ones are as full-on as you can get .

I did not mean to strike a discord about non vinyl. More so that If you remember it post it. Sorry and sad about giving up things that mean much to us as life evolves. I will have a hard time parting with my crap as well. Reminds me of this line by King Crimson though "Nothing he's got he really needs. Twenty first century schizoid man."

I refinished it myself years ago. Was an chicken loft. Below is 2ft thick walls field stone old milk house. Still has the "MR. Ed door." Got A/C and heat. Like the song goes"I could hold out here all night." Glad I have the time to add a few pics. Just came off a twelve hour night.
