Thread: A lazy million Baht, how would you treat yourself?.

Let's say you received a bonus of around 1 Million Baht, and decided that seeing as it was an unexpected windfall, you're going to spend it on yourself. In this completely hypothetical situation, you live in Thailand, already have the wheels you want, condo/furniture/AV system you want, and aren't interested in travel any more.

So what does that leave?. How would you spend the money in a way that would make you the most happy?.

Give it to an Equestrian cntre where old asses and hors can be unbridled after a ife in the saddle

Spend a shitload on coke an' hookers and probably just waste the rest.


Or put it in a trust to educate the maids daughter.

Hire some locals to build a get away houseboat with solar & power & water toys.

Stock plenty of refreshments.

Since it would be considered a windfall and nothing lost, I might spread half expanding on family's horticulture/agricultural pursuits - the other half would be created educational trusts for the girls.

Throw a big ol' party for the family and spend the rest on various odds and ends. Or maybe buy more farmland, can never have enough land right?

How about a grotto like in the playboy mansion? 1 million in thailand would build a kickass mancave!

I'd give it to my missus. Then I'd like to see what she does with it. If she spends the lot then I know that the things I've tried to teach her over the last 9 years was a waste of time.

Build a small swimming pool in the back garden and buy a keg of 'Old Speckled Hen.'

I'd buy 9,090 lottery tickets and be a multi millionaire!

I'd do the same as what I do with my Bt500,000 bonus.....

Same as one does with any windfall. Nothing for a few months or a year and then at the time one finds something specific, use it then.
