Wouldn't go quite that far but it would make me feel uncomfortable to see. And I would wonder why the girl was with him - coercion, money or what?

Quite. Or it's just plain money

So what would you do if you married the love of your life and she reached that age? Bin her? I don't know if you realise but, unlike men, we women do get older...

Not me, I'm 41, misses 39 and been together best part of 15 years. I just find it fukin sad when see 60 year old blokes with late teen, early 20s girls as they are taking away their youth, the young girls should be out with their friends enjoying life, partying etc. not stuck shacked up with some coffin dodger. And why would any self respecting bloke want to be in a relationship with a woman who was just waiting for him to die unless of course they do genuinely believe it's 'real lurvvve'.
Good post and almost agree with you. At the end of the day if both parties are happy for whatever reason then who can fault them. The only important thing IMO is that both parties know exactly where they stand. If they both know that it's a marriage of convenience, one no longer being lonely the other having a more enjoyable life with money, travel and a secure future, and nobody is pretending it's something it isn't, then all power to them.

I do agree with you though that you need to be a certain kind of person to want/be able to do it. I certainly never could.

Couldn't care less - up to them, live and let live, etc...

If they are happy together, all power to them.

Well said mate..don't know why law makers don't keep the hell out of people's bedrooms....and to think those same law makers do not give a shit about child labour, exploitation and murder except with BS rhetoric.
