What a bunch of nazi moderators and idiots there. I am glad I found this forum. I was getting tired of the threats to suspend my posting priveleges for three days. They are on a real power trip there! My buddy got banned because he used the term Musisies for Muslims. But they say POMS, Yanks, Convicts (our OZ friends and everything else. What is the difference? The newest thing that they are doing there is to ban you if you comment on a bad experience at a farang pub and george or one of his cronies that spoons with the bar owner bans you or deletes your posts.

Anyhow, I am glad that there is an alternative!

Not an alternative. More a place where having fun is OK within reason and the information you get is real, not tainted by self-promotion or rose-colored opinions.

Welcome. FF is right. This is a different forum in its own right. Don't bother comparing it to others. Any rivalries are in the minds of some users, there are plenty of us here who aren't part of any "forum scene" and just enjoy this place for what it is, hope you enjoy it and stay around.

Yes, it seems like it's getting worse over there as time goes on.
What with room temperature IQ posters like kayo etc, it does suck.
Teak Door, as someone has already mentioned, is in a class by itself. Posters here tend not to be of the wet-behind-the-ear backpacker variety and thus a higher level of discourse is to be found (I said that with a straight face too)

Actually, I agree with Bendix (must be a first smile.gif ), a FEW trolls, flames etc brighten the board, just don't let it get like that 'other' place (something to do with a hole filler made from indigenous hardwood).

Am I missing something??
