Shop Rage over 10 baht

Just went to family mart to buy a beer and a sausage for my son sausage was 17 baht but the little shit charged me 27 baht.

After receiving my change i discovered the mistake so asked politely for him to rectify the mistake, he decided he didn't speak no English so in my broken Thai, i pointed out his mistake again which he decided to ignore me completely so went to one of the other attendants and showed them the sausage and price argh ignored again blood boiling different tact, got my son to speak Thai, he gets told no sausage 27 baht, tell your Papa to get out of shop.

So i asks son to take daughter and himself out of shop, the little shit behind the counter now speaking english says to me thats price get out of shop, i goes and hunts down the supervisor in the back.

I was nearly going to become another arrested farang by flooring the little prick, super tells him to check price again which if he did in the first place we wouldn't have the problem the little smart ass gets a calculator and checks and whoa and behold he sees he charged me ten baht to much, so i say maybe you need to go school again, little prick throws money on counter, and some it goes on floor, the super see's this and tells him to pick up, now i'm smiling like a cheshire cat.

All that for fekking 10 baht.

I try to aviod these problems by calculating the total price before i pay.

In our local shop i have found its easier to tell them the total and how much change i need, after many situations of being over charged or under charged.

When i woke this morning i went to 7/11 for a coffee and took two paper cups to hold the hot liquid, went to pay and got told you want two cups 28 baht i ust smiled and said keep your cup, karma nearly came back to bite me

Agreed. Encountered this a few times also. The banzai "reaction" is usually a rehearsed response.- Because they routinely cheat patrons. Best not to respond to it, and just quietly have a word with the owner / manager, if still no joy make sure you and everyone you know doesn't go there again.
