Bands that Changed Their Original Linen Up

I just booked tickets to see the Stranglers, among others at the Wychwood Festival in Cheltenham at the end of May.

So, the question is , is it really the Stranglers without Hugh Cornwell? Or is it the Stranglers when Cornwell gets a few session musicians and belts out a few numbers?

What about other bands that have new lead singers? Fail or pass?

For vocals, INXS were using Terence Trent D'arby for a while

Mike & The Mechanics used using Roachford, Queen had Paul Rodgers

I think the bottom line is, you can't beat the original

Never seen any appeal in spending money on an evening thinking about who's missing.

Not just Hugh either. Jet Black is not really able to take part on stage anymore due to health issues.

But back in the day...what a band.

Seen the Stranglers loads of times back when Cornwell was still with them. They just were not the same band without him, imo.
