Nice engine detailing on this F4F Wildcat and a fully functional folding wing to boot with gaping machine gun hatch porn on both wings

The F4F struggled a bit against the more maneuverable A6M Zero but turned in impressive kill ratios by the end of the war when it was retired from service in 1945

Is this a pre assembled die cast model you’ve purchased or are these plastic models that you are painting, glueing and adding decals to?

These are Airfix glued together plastic kits Willy, of the type we all built and painted when we were kids. There are adult men in this world who also do this as an adult hobby, and to a much higher standard than we did as nippers.

I am not one of these men; however, I support these men by buying their completed kits to make more room on their man-shelves so they can continue in their good work.

I've had quite a few dry days this time home, which is pretty amazing considering the provocation I've been under.

But anyway, despite not really feeling like them, for my last Friday night of freedom I went for a pair of pre-dinner Leos tonight... before my glass of 'Casillero del Diablo' with dinner. Yes, no Mont Clair for me on my last weekend.



I've also prepared a monster portion of peas to go with tonight's pork chops... I've yet to work on a Norwegian boat that's generous on the peas.
