Seems like they're stuck in the dark ages here
Must have been 3 or 4 years ago that VB implemented a system to directly upload pics from your computer to a post
and surely the time limits can be changed based on post count
anyone with more than 100 posts shouldn't be waiting a whole minute between posts.... i'm pretty sure it contravenes the universal declaration of human rights, or the Geneva convention, I'm not sure which
Just drag and dropped from private window in FB..seems the way to go if you have your pic on FB
ooooh this is fun..finally

upload direct from pc option
fb pics are low quality.... but if the photo is already on the net somewhere, it's not the same problem... talking about taking pics straight from computer to post, for example if you take a screenshot for some reason and need to post it etc...Originally Posted by crepitas
I would like just to be able to think photos and pictures onto the forum - and I should be able to resize them just by thought also

is that an answer?
i use loads of forums and this is the only one that doesn't have an upload from pc option......
apologies if i sound whiney but there's really no reason why TD doesn't have that option is there?
i just did a screenshot for the fantasy thread
i then had to open a new window and upload it to the TD gallery in order to host it.....took about 90 seconds
i'm a busy man
You do sound whiney.
1. Images can host malware and virus payloads.
2. Lazy pricks often don't bother to resize images which would lead to a much higher storage overhead for the servers.
Is three clicks that big a deal?
1. Drag and drop image to imgur
2. Copy and paste image tag from imgur.
That actually works out even as you don't need to use the vbulliten insert image button and dialogue.

Using the Gallery & Posting Photos
If you want to post pictures then you must upload them to an online gallery first.
You can use the TeakDoor Gallery to store them.
This is a test.
If you are intelligent enough to upload to the gallery then you should be intelligent enough to know what sort of pictures are acceptable.
Hundreds of people have passed the test, you have to do the same.
Don't complain about it, we ain't going to change it, although you can learn how to use your gallery and post photos from the stickies here.
