Thai Mathmatics ( beware ! )

Ok this Saturday our local village has one of those " feel the love " days where those who can , basically provide for those who cant.


So for my part I ordered and paid for a tank of ice cream which I am gonna stand and dish out to the kids 1200 bht ,, got that number ? 1200 ok so far so good.


So yesterday afternoon my sil puts 400 bht in my hand , happy days I thought , the wife explained to me , the sil,s manager at work wants to be seen doing the good deed with me dishing out the ice cream and wants to go halves with me to join in.

So there you are 1200 minus 400 = 400 ☆

Or 400 plus 400 = 1200 ☆


Now if only I had studied more at school I could have been a hospital manager instead of a lorry driver.

Next year I,ll be on the look out for a green punter who,s just forked out for the tank of ice cream , chuck him my half ( 200 bht ) make sure the missus is getting plenty of pics of me genorously dishing up my ( half ) of the ice cream ,, upload straight onto facebook.show the world what a wonderfull citizen I am .

In that case, politely but firmly tell the manager that half is 750 baht, not 400.

Now, if he had bought the ice cream it would have been ThB 800 in which case his half would have been ThB 200 and the cost to you, of your half, ThB 600.
