Check out the suspension set-up on that Mini!
Good to see that the spirit of einstein lives on.
Amazing!
Love the Mini setup!
Whats amazing about it?
a bunch of clarksonesque retard kids drive a car up an angled ramp and it backflips, then they break into an apoplexic fit of whooping and hollering.
What exactly did they expect the car to do if not that.
Idiots
Grumpy git!
Its a simple fucking backflip, with a cowardly soft landing too.
anyone would think they had cured cancer or solved the middle east problem.
Jaysus, isn't he just!Grumpy git!
If it were that easy then someone else would have done it by now.
Link won't load for me so I found this one (so Exile can watch it again)
Good find, I tried to find another on YouTube but could only see one that cuts out just prior to the landing.
Oh, its a worlds first is it. Lets declare a public holiday
Man flips car, yawn yawn.
Suppose you could put it on you tube with all the other ground breaking worlds firsts.
Dog that looks like a cake, armchair that can read french, bloke falls over and developmentally challenged men flip a car.
Peel me a lemon.
Sheesh, someone definitely got out of the wrong side of bed this morning! Maybe even back flipped out!
It's just a bit of fun Tax, not everything has to have gravitas does it?
and anyway, what's with the unassisted?? Lets see him do it without the ramp.
Gravitas, its the spice of life.
Its the use ofthe words daredevil and worlds first that caught my attention, the obsession with labelling the mundane as exciting, the exaggeration of everything, the promotion of nothing as something .
Yes, its fun, fun for ten year olds, but its neither fantastic nor groundbreaking. Its the circus moved to a snowfield, thats all. To be watched and forgotten. A simple demonstration of physics in action. Nothing surprising about it.
Had it not been bigged up and promoted in that way, i doubt if anyone would have batted an eyelid.
Yet the deceptive promotion seems to elicit an almost pavlovian response of excitement and wonderment at what is no more than a simple predictabe and easily repeatable stunt.
Why are we so easily impressed and taken in by this nonsense.
I think you're over-thinking it. That being said I doubt it's as simple as you say, probably a fair amount of prep (not in the least of which would have been on the car) and planning went into it. A fair bit of calculation involved in having the ramp, car speed, weight and other factors just so.
Not really the kind of thing a group of mates buggering about of a weekend could pull off.
Good publicity stunt. What's with the miserable fecks?
Plenty of people have done backflips in a car, sometimes not intentionally but a backflip none the less.
Yes, it would take a fifteen year old at least ten minutes on a calculator to work it out.
I think you have been bewitched by the promotional spin on this dreary non event and feel the need
To broadcast your great find. Its mass hysteria.
Hook line and sinker as they say.
Great find? Hardly, it was simply something that caught my eye and seemed like a bit of harmless fun so I thought I'd post it up on here.
A decision I'm beginning to regret I have to say.
Looking at the state of the bodywork on my motor, my other half does this every time she goes shopping
